Los HC <strong>aportan energ\u00eda r\u00e1pida, mejoran el rendimiento y protegen al m\u00fasculo de su degradaci\u00f3n<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>La <strong>creencia o el mito<\/strong> de que los<strong> HC engordan es falso<\/strong>. No engordas por comer HC, <strong>engordas porque hay un super\u00e1vit cal\u00f3rico<\/strong> (ingieres m\u00e1s calor\u00edas de las que gastas). Por ello, <strong>la clave<\/strong> para no engordar es tener un <strong>balance energ\u00e9tivo negativo (d\u00e9ficit cal\u00f3rico<\/strong> = ingerir menos calor\u00edas de las que gastas) <strong>y saber que tipo de HC y en que cantidad<\/strong> tomarlo (seg\u00fan tu objetivo).<\/p>\n<p>En cuanto a <strong>cuando se toman los HC tambi\u00e9n es importante ya que metabolicamente no tienen el mismo impacto<\/strong>. Si se toman <strong>por el d\u00eda, la sensibilidad a la insulina es mejor<\/strong>; si se toma <strong>por la noche, la tolerancia es peor<\/strong>. <strong>Esto no quiere decir que engorden m\u00e1s<\/strong> (ya que las calor\u00edas son las mismas tanto por el d\u00eda como por la noche), <strong>pero el cuerpo lo gestiona distinto<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Pero, <strong>\u00bfsab\u00edas que puedes reducir los HC utilizables<\/strong> y que por lo tanto, la ingesta de HC por las noches sea mejor? <strong>Esto se consigue formando cociendo HC y dej\u00e1ndolos enfriar durante 24h<\/strong>. De esta forma, conseguimos el famoso <strong>almid\u00f3n resistente<\/strong>. Este almid\u00f3n <strong>va a provocar<\/strong> que haya <strong>menos HC utilizables en la fuente de HC que vamos a ingerir<\/strong> (buena idea si somos sedentarios), <strong>mayor saciedad<\/strong>, <strong>mejor digesti\u00f3n<\/strong> (reduciendo tambi\u00e9n la inflamaci\u00f3n que pueden provocar algunos HC), <strong>mantiene la glucosa estable<\/strong> (evita picos de glucosa) y tiene un <strong>efecto prebi\u00f3tico<\/strong> (mejora la salud intestinal y la microbiota).<\/p>\n<p>Por lo tanto, a<strong>justa tus HC en funci\u00f3n de si eres sedentario o deportista<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; <strong>Sedentario<\/strong>: <strong>alterna d\u00edas con mayor y menor aporte de HC<\/strong>. <strong>Utiliza<\/strong> el <strong>almid\u00f3n resistente junto a prote\u00ednas<\/strong> ya que esta combinaci\u00f3n va a <strong>aumentar la saciedad<\/strong>. <strong>Adem\u00e1s<\/strong>, el <strong>aumento en la ingesta de fibra<\/strong> (frutas y verduras) tambi\u00e9n va a colaborar en el <strong>aumento de la saciedad<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; <strong>Deportista<\/strong>: <strong>prioriza HC f\u00e1ciles de digerir<\/strong> (patata, arroz, boniato, noodles). <strong>Para la actividad f\u00edsica necesitamos energ\u00eda<\/strong>, es decir, nos interesa que haya m\u00e1s HC utilizables por lo que en este caso, la opci\u00f3n del almid\u00f3n resistente no es tan buena. <strong>Ingiere HC antes<\/strong> (3h antes aproximadamente) <strong>y despu\u00e9s del entrenamiento\/competici\u00f3n junto a prote\u00ednas<\/strong> (para aprovechar la ventana anab\u00f3lica). <strong>Adem\u00e1s<\/strong>, <strong>ingiere menos fibra antes de la actividad f\u00edsica<\/strong> ya que esta podr\u00eda dificultad la absorci\u00f3n de los HC ya que la difesti\u00f3n ser\u00eda m\u00e1s lenta.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Los hidratos de carbono (HC) no son un nutriente esencial (a diferencia de las prote\u00ednas y las grasas) ya que el cuerpo puede crear glucosa a partir de otros nutrientes, pero s\u00ed son importantes y sobre todo si haces deporte.
